Antiquities
Many of the photographs in this section include several antiquities.
The first 31 antiquities shown here are small ancient items from Egypt. The original group of 49 antiquities included several from other parts
of the Mid East and many pre-Columbian items.
The Egyptian antiquities include strands of faience beads, a head, strands of mummy beads,
a group of ancient gold-on-stone beads (#6), faience and ceramic seals, a bronze bell,
ancient amethyst beads, stone figures and a stamp seal (#16), among others.
The pre-Columbian antiquities come from various parts of the Americas.
Pre-Columbian necklaces and strands of beads are of stone, shell, quartz crystal and other materials.
Many pre-Columbian ceramic or clay items are also included.
Items #43 and #44 are a seal and a strand of faience beads from Persia. Item #45 is a beautiful roll seal.
