Judaica Item 064
This is a large, beautifully made, silver and brass Megilla holder with the scroll inside.
On the silver band is written in Hebrew "Mordechai Yazah Milifnai Hamelech Belibo Meto",
which means "And Mordechai went out from before the King with a dead heart" (from the story of Esther).
